Sponsors are local, state and national businesses that want to help fund the mission of the EBV. The Mountain Empire E-Business Village will apply for state and federal grants, and already has support from the Virginia Center for Innovative Technology (CIT), the Appalachian Regional Committee (ARC) and the Tobacco Commission but it is anticipated that support from business sponsors will be invaluable.
